PROJECT SUPPORT Next week, there are two projects due.
In History, there is project coming up that uses a World Map. I have attached a simpler map that you can use instead of the one provided in OW, if you would like. Here is the rubric for the Map Activity:
Meets (80-89%) - Map includes marked cities and ship route; questions are answered
Exceeds (90-100%) - Map includes marked cities, ship route, and more; questions are answered with additional details
In Language Arts, there is a Poem Review and students are instructed to fill out and turn in a Venn Diagram comparing two poems. Here is the grading rubric for that project:
Meets (80-89%) - Venn diagram includes at least 2 items in each category; paragraph includes which poem fits the city theme and the author’s writing technique; demonstrates understanding of the poem; proofreading evident
Exceeds (90-100%) - Venn diagram includes more than 3 items in each category; paragraph uses details from the poem to support ideas; deep analysis and understanding of the poem; more than one paragraphNEXT WEEK ************************************************************
