RECYCLE CONTEST Every school in the Hillsboro School District is competing against each other to see who can collect the most plastic film to be recycled. The winning school gets a new TREX bench! Lets win this contest! Examples of plastic film include shopping bags, ziplock bags, pellet bags, dry cleaning bags, etc. The plastic must be clean and food-free. You can bring your plastic film in anytime between now and April 15. So far, HOA has collected over 84 POUNDS of plastic film! Great job families! Keep it up!
ST. PATRICK'S DAY PARADE UPDATE I'm sorry to have to tell you this, but we are not able to participate in the parade this year. We'll try again next year.

If you are interested in finding out more about opting out, please click here. Completed forms should be brought to Kristina, our office manager. If your student is a 5th grader and you are opting them out, you will also need to send an email to Mrs. Harrington ([email protected]) stating your reasons for opting out of the OAKS Science Test. Please let me know if you have any questions.

If you haven't done so yet, it would be good idea to talk with your student about the Science Fair and start narrowing down project ideas. Proposals are officially due Monday, March 13 for Monday class and Tuesday, March 14 for Tuesday class. The first student who brings me a signed proposal form will get a prize!
