MONDAY AGENDA & FRIDAY FEEDBACK - Don't forget to send me your Monday Agenda and Friday Feedback!
FIELD TRIP TOMORROW- On April 15, we will be headed to Champoeg State Park for a field trip. As always, parent chaperones are required, so please let me know if you can attend. This is going to be a fun one! We will leave HOA around 8:30 and return by 1:30. Please have your student at HOA by 8:15 and please pack a sack lunch. PE classes are cancelled on this field trip day.
SCIENCE FAIR SCHEUDULE - The Science Fair is next week! I am super excited for our 3rd Science Fair! In addition to science projects, we have decided to allow students to bring in any work they have completed this year that they are proud of. It can be from any subject at HOA, a previous school this year, or any homeschooled class that they are a part of. We will provide some tables in the gym and work can be brought in anytime during judging. Examples of projects could be artwork, posters, brochures, or anything written. This is an easy/fun way for all students to be "involved" in the science fair this year. Please let me know if you have any questions about this. Judging for science projects will be broken into two time slots, last names starting with A-K will be from 1:00-1:45, and L-Z from 1:45-2:30. If you have a time conflict, please let me know and we can work something else out. Students will be expected to bring in their tri-fold board, any props, and be prepared to explain their project and answer some questions. They do not need to have a formal speech prepared, but it would be good for them to have practiced talking about their project in advance.
HOA CONERT - The HOA concert is Thursday, April 21 at 5:30 in the Upper Gym. You are all welcome to attend!

SBAC (STATE TESTING) - Here is the link for more information on state testing, including opting out. Please check it out and let me know if you have any questions. If you are unsure if your student should be here for testing on Monday, please email me. If your student has been opted out, please do not send them to regular face-to-face class at 9:00. They are welcome to join their classmates for lunch, or come for electives.

SBAC PRACTICE TESTS - We didn't have time to complete all of the practice tests this week in class, so I am including the link to them below. Click on the green Student Interface box (in English), click Sign In, select grade and click Yes, and then select any of the practice tests. For those of you who have students taking the state tests this month, I would encourage you to sit with them and go through at least one test with them. They aren't all multiple choice questions and they can be tricky!
