PAINTING VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - Last Saturday at the Garden Festival (which was a HUGE success!), we almost finished re-painting the map of the United States on the blacktop, but we ran out of paint and time. I am looking for 2-3 hard-working parent volunteers to come next week on Thursday, May 12 at 10:00 to finish it off. Please let me know if you are interested. Thank you!

NO PE FRIDAY, MAY 13 - Ms. Stubbs will be out next Friday, so we will not be having PE.
ADDITIONAL STATE TESTING - If your student(s) did not finish state testing this month, we are offering additional days through May. We will have access to the classroom and laptops on Wednesdays from 9:00-12:00. If your student is planning on staying for the 12:00-1:00 PE on Wednesdays after state testing, please pack them a sack lunch. Otherwise, we will be done with testing at 11:45.
PROUD TO BE HSD - On Saturday, May 21, the Hillsboro School District is partnering with the Hillsboro Farmer's Market to showcase student achievement and programs within schools. HOA will have a booth, come down and say hi! There will be a STEAM Pavillion (Science, technology, engineering, arts, and math), College and Careers Pathways area, Athletics/Activities, Art Walk, Chess Challenge, Performance Stage, and community partner booths. It's going to be fun!
SAVE THE DATES - Two important dates are coming up in June...Monday, June 6 will be our last week with Music, Art, and Band. We will still have face-to-face class, PE, and clubs like normal that week. And Monday, June 13 is our FIELD DAY from 10:00-12:30.
